"Renewable energy has always been something that interests me, so naturally I was excited to work with a renewable energy client.

The Clean Energy Incubator came to us for the logo, brochure and conference design of their Clean Energy Venture Summit held May 14-16. It was the first conference of its kind in Austin, so I wanted the design to be impactful.

I drew most of my inspiration from nature, especially the hill country. I really liked the silhouette of rolling hills and used it as the base of my design. I wanted to stick with colors that reminded me of some of nature's most crucial elements, colors like green, blue and yellow. And, the paper we used for the brochure was a recycled-almond tone that really brought the piece together.

The Clean Energy Incubator was great to work with and I especially enjoyed the opportunity to be involved in something new, exciting and so relevant to our community.

To top it all off, they liked the design and their conference was a great success- I look forward to working on more."
