"As soon as I heard UnwiredNation was in need of another Flash project I jumped at the chance. UnwiredNation has a great product, and they often allow us a little more freedom than most clients. The goal of this project was to illustrate how the product will work for future clients."
"They came to us with the script in hand and some ideas on the style. We had a short one week deadline so I got started on it immediately. They envisioned the character in an urban style which worked out well, and I decided he needed a backdrop to help achieve that. I sent her some Adobe Illustrator samples of how things might look. She promptly approved the samples and I jumped into Flash for the animation."
"I used simple fades between body positions to emulate the character walking and interacting with the phone. This style of animation not only saved a lot of time but goes perfectly with the type of illustration."
"In the end I think it turned out great. UnwiredNation has always been open to new and different approaches to the projects we do for them. Keep an eye out for more, I'm hoping to have some completed in the upcoming months."
